I’ve got a 2000 pounds sitting in an account I want to do something with, something that will allow me to supplement my monthly income.

At first I looked at Forex because of the high returns, but after looking up on it, it seems that 99% of people lose their money on the foreign exchange unless they really know what they’re are doing. So that’s out of the question.
Has anyone tried a broker, or does anyone know of a legitimate broker who would accept 2k?

I’m looking to build an article based website to run on autopilot, so another idea was to put the money into marketing, specifically ppc addwords. But I’ve not even bought a domain name yet, and I need to look into that more, so I’m not considering that as a strong possibility at the moment.

I only earn 17k per year, so 2k is a lot of money to me. Do you have any ideas you could share?

TM&Co sold me AddWords with Google for 1 month trial but they forgot to mention that it is actually a roll up contract. Not clear information from the beginning and talks about legal actions from them all around. Never again. I think I will contact Google regarding practices used by this particular company

My site has been active for almost a year now.

I sell baby gift baskets for all occasions, but am currently concentrating on new baby baskets until they start to pick up.

I also make and sell luxury birth announcement cards.

I am getting about 10 hits a day but in 10 months have made just 3 sales.

I have a links page which operates on an exchange basis and I subscribe to google addwords.

Is there anything I’ve missed that I can do to promote my site without forking out a load of money (since I’m running on a loss at the mo!)

Has anyone tried addwords and been successful, if so how much did you invest daily.

I want to increase page ranking on my site, I know I need incoming links. Does payed addwords increase this? Any other sugestions?
