I think that Verizon is a great choice! They bought out Alltel, which a LOT of people have as well.
Verizon is the biggest phone company in Omaha also, and they have the best customer service. My only suggestion.. if you have ANY problems whatsoever.. do NOT go to the Dodge street location.. travel to Bellevue it is way worth it & they will help you with anything!
If you plan on having wifi you should get T-mobile with hotspot for $10 more a month you can call unlimited as long as your using the wifi to make the calls only a couple of phones can use this though but your signal will be at full strength at home at least
